Ra-Atum, your son comes to you. The King comes to you. Lift him up to you. Hold him to your bosom.

O Atum — your son, this King — was born in Annu, in your seat. Look upon him; he is yours. Take him to yourself; he is your child.

O Geb, your son comes to you. Open your arms.

O Nut, your son comes to you. Stretch your hands over him. Spread your wings beneath him. Carry him into the sky.

O Osiris, your son Horus comes to you — and the King is Horus.

O Isis, your child has come — your child is the King. Suckle him at your breast. Let him not hunger; let him not thirst.

O Nephthys, weep not. Your brother has come — and the brother is the King. Sit down beside him. Lay your hand upon him.

The doors of the sky are open. The doors of the horizon are open. The King passes through them. The gods of the West receive him. The gods of the East rise to greet him.

O all you gods — your master comes. The King comes. Bow your heads. Touch the ground with your hands. Make a way for him in the sky.
