The emanation of the Self-Generated

The holy book of the great invisible Spirit, of the Father whose name is unutterable, the one who has come forth from the heights, the perfection of the light. The Spirit is incorruptible.

Three powers came forth from the great invisible Spirit: the Father, the Mother, the Son. From the silent silence — from the living silence — the Father came forth.

The thrice-male Child came forth from the Father — the Self-Generated, the divine, the great Self-Generated. He emanated from the Father; the Father took pleasure in him.

Around the Self-Generated there came forth the four luminaries: Harmozel, Oroiael, Daveithai, Eleleth. They are the dwelling-places of the four pairs of Aeons. The four together are the Tetrad of the Pleroma.

And from the great invisible Spirit and the silent silence, Adamas, the holy man, came forth. He was set in the first luminary, Harmozel. The great Seth, his son, was set in the second, Oroiael. The seed of the great Seth — the holy generation — was set in the third, Daveithai. The repentant souls were set in the fourth, Eleleth.

And the holy generation gave glory to the great invisible Spirit, and to the Father, and to the Mother, and to the Son. They sang. They were silent. They sang again.
