When James heard these things, he wiped away his tears and was very glad. And the Lord said to him, James, behold, I have revealed to you everything. Get up. I shall go before you.
James went away. And he came down. And he saw seven women on the road. They were dancing. And James gave them strength of soul, that they might be wise. And he taught them what was right.
When James went up to teach the people, he was strong, because he had heard from the Lord. He said, Listen, my brothers. Here are the things I have to teach you, the things I learned from the Lord.
And he taught them about the toll-keepers, and the way of ascent, and the truth, and how the soul is to escape. And those who would not believe him stoned him. And he died as a martyr, but he had taught what was given to him.
Such was the testimony of James the brother of the Lord, who handed on the teaching as the Lord had commanded him.
