Third stele — to the Pre-existent Father

The third stele of Seth: We rejoice; we rejoice; we rejoice. We have seen, we have seen, we have seen the Pre-existent One who really existed, existing as the very first.
O Unbegotten One, from thee come the eternal ones and the aeons of the All — the ones whom thou hast perfected. We bless thee, the cause of all causes. Thou art the cause of the eternal ones, who exist after thee.
O thou who exist before all things, thou single One, the cause of all our begetting — bless us through thy own self. We rejoice in thee, who hast given us being and existence. We give thanks; we glorify; we honour; we worship; we bless.
Thou art One, thou art One, thou art One — the One; the only one. Thou art the Father. Thou art the Father. Thou hast become Mind, that is, the perfect Mind, which is the eternal one of the spirits.
May we thank thee with one prayer; we worship thee, the All. We do not pray apart from thee. To thee be glory, beyond all glories — to thee, O God, the unrevealed-revealed One.
This is the third stele of Seth. He who shall remember these things and shall always glorify shall be perfect among the perfect, and unattainable to anything in any way. For all of them bless these in unity and individuality, and afterwards they are silent. And just as their order finds them, so they shall be.
In the ascent, after the silence, they descend from the third. They bless the second, and after these, the first. The Way of Ascent is the Way of Descent.
Know therefore, as the living elect, the things that are. And meditate upon these. Hear them. Ascend, ascend, ascend.
