This is the letter that Peter sent to Philip: Peter, the apostle of Yeshua the Anointed, to Philip, our beloved brother and our fellow apostle, and to the brothers who are with you, greetings.
Now I want you to know, our brother, that we have received commands from our Lord and saviour of the whole world that we should come together and teach and preach in the salvation that was promised to us by our Lord Yeshua the Anointed. But you yourself were apart from us and did not desire that we should come together and learn how we should organize ourselves to bring the good news. Now if it pleases you, our brother, come according to the commands of our god Yeshua.
When Philip received this letter and read it, he went to Peter rejoicing with gladness. Then Peter gathered the others as well. They went up the mountain that is called the mountain of olives, the place where they had gathered with the blessed Anointed when he was in the body.
When the apostles had come together and had thrown themselves on their knees, they prayed in this way, saying, Father of light, possessor of the imperishable splendours, hear us, just as you have taken pleasure in your holy child Yeshua the Anointed. For he became for us a luminary in the darkness. Yes, hear us.
And they prayed again, saying, Son of life, son of immortality, who is in the light, son, Anointed of immortality, our redeemer, give us power, for they are seeking us in order to kill us.
Then a great light appeared, so that the mountain shone from the sight of the one who appeared. And a voice called out to them, saying, Listen to my words that I may speak to you. Why are you seeking me? I am Yeshua the Anointed who is with you forever.
Then the apostles answered and said, Lord, we want to know about the deficiency of the aeons and about the fullness of the aeons; and how are we held in this dwelling place; and how have we come to this place; and how shall we go forth; and how do we have the authority of boldness; and why do the powers fight against us?
