The Saviour speaks of crossing over

The Saviour said to his disciples, Already the time has come, brothers, for us to abandon our toil and stand at rest. For he who stands at rest will rest forever. The hour has come for the bride to be revealed.
Mariamme said to the Lord, Lord, where are you taking us? The Saviour said, Wherever the bride goes, I am there.
Yehuda said, Tell us, Lord, the place where the elect go.
The Saviour said, There is light in light, and darkness in darkness. The light came into the darkness; the light was not received. He who has eyes to see — let him see. There is a place of light: there is rest there. There is a place of darkness: there is no rest there. The soul that has not received the light shall not have rest.
Mathew said, Lord, I want to see that place of life — the place where there is no death.
The Saviour said, As long as you carry the body, you cannot see it. But when you have laid down the body — when you have crossed over — you shall see it. The place of life is the Father.
