Spell for not letting the heart of N create opposition against him in the realm of the dead. He shall say:
O my heart of my mother. O my heart of my mother. O my heart of my different forms. Do not stand up against me as a witness in the presence of the lord of things. Do not be hostile to me before the keeper of the balance.
You are my ka, which is in my body — Khnum who knit my limbs together, who made my members sound. May you go forth to the happy place to which we hasten. Do not make my name to stink before the great ones, the shenit-officials, who fashion men.
Do not let lies be told against me at the side of the god. It will be good for the hearer; it will be joyful for him who divides — and joyful for him who hears it.
Do not allow falsehoods to come out of your mouth against me. Do not invent any story against me when I am before the great god, the lord of the West.
Be steadfast, my heart. Be steadfast — for I am a man whose mouth is pure, whose hands are pure. To me it is said: "Welcome." When my heart is weighed against the feather, let it not be heavy.
O my heart, do not be hostile. O my heart, do not bear witness against me. O my heart, do not fall upon the side of injustice. The Western balance is true — the scale-pan is true — let me come forth justified.
