The Lord teaches Enoch

The Lord said to me, Enoch, my beloved, sit down on my left hand with Gabriel. I sat down. The Lord said, Enoch, do not be afraid. Stand up and stand forever in front of my face.
Then the Lord called to one of his archangels, by the name Vrevoil, who was swifter in wisdom than the other archangels, and who recorded all the deeds of the Lord. The Lord said, Bring out the books from my storehouses, and give them to Enoch, and let him write down all the souls of men, the things to come and the things past.
I sat for sixty days and sixty nights writing. I produced three hundred and sixty-six books. The Lord said, You have seen, Enoch, what is. You have seen what was. You shall see what is to come.
And he taught me of the creation. In the beginning there was only one — the invisible. He commanded the descents. He commanded the ages to come into being. He spoke, and Adoil came forth, light from light. From Adoil came the upper waters. He commanded again, and Arukhaz came forth — darkness. From Arukhaz came the lower waters. The light was set above; the darkness was set below.
And in the seven days of creation, on the sixth day I commanded, and there came forth from the earth Adam — a tree of life — bearing my image. From Adam came forth Eve, his wife.
Then he said, Now go down to your sons, Enoch. Tell them what I have told you. Tell them what you have seen. Stay with them thirty days. Then I shall send for you.
Two men brought me down on the wind. They placed me at the door of my house. My sons gathered. I taught them everything that I had learned in the heavens.
And after thirty days, the Lord sent for me. I was taken up. The earth saw me no more.
